Samsung has officially commenced the rollout of its latest Android interface, One UI 7, starting April 7, 2025. This update introduces a host of new features aimed at enhancing user experience through personalization and advanced AI capabilities. One UI 7 brings a bold new design that emphasizes simplicity and user control. The home screen has been streamlined, and redesigned widgets offer a more cohesive experience. The lock screen now features the Now Bar, providing real-time updates directly accessible without unlocking the device.
Artificial Intelligence plays a central role in this update. AI Select intuitively recommends actions based on context, such as creating GIFs from videos with a simple swipe. Writing Assist helps users summarize and format text efficiently. Additionally, the Audio Eraser feature allows for the isolation or removal of specific sounds from video recordings, enhancing audio clarity. The initial rollout includes the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6. Subsequent updates will extend to other models, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and various Galaxy A series models such as A55 and A35. This rollout is being conducted in phases, so availability may vary by region and device model. Users are encouraged to regularly check for updates to take advantage of the new features and improvements offered by One UI 7.
